Murphy Law Firm Investigates Legal Claims on Behalf of the 1,482,490 whose Personal Information was Exposed in the Data Breach at Wilton Reassurance Company

OKLAHOMA CITY - June 26, 2023 - PRLog -- Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach involving Wilton Reassurance Company ("Wilton Reassurance"). On June 6, 2023, Wilton Reassurance confirmed that an unauthorized actor gained access to its customers' sensitive information between May 29, 2023 and May 30, 2023. The unauthorized accessed occurred through the use of the MOVEit transfer tool used by Wilton Reassurance's third-party service provider, PBI Research Services. Through a subsequent investigation, Wilton Reassurance determined that the data accessed by cybercriminals included the personal identifying information of approximately 1,482,490 individuals, including their Social Security numbers.
