Concert strengthens executive team as it continues to expand quality behavioral healthcare nationwide

Concert Health, a leading behavioral health medical group, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Kimiko Boyd as the company’s new chief operations officer. Bringing decades of experience in healthcare operations, Boyd will work alongside Concert’s leadership team to accelerate the company’s progress toward its vision of delivering integrated behavioral health services directly within primary care clinics nationwide.

“We are delighted for Kimiko to join Concert as we continue to advance our growth, bringing our team the benefit of a proven, dynamic leader with an extensive background in healthcare operations,” said Spencer Hutchins, co-founder, and chief executive officer at Concert Health. “Kimiko’s commitment to improving access to behavioral healthcare is as deep as her experience, and we look forward to working alongside her in pursuit of Concert’s mission.”

“I’ve long believed in the importance of overcoming the barriers that exist in behavioral health care to connect patients to the quality care they deserve, a belief I know everyone at Concert shares,” said Boyd. “Long-term success comes from the momentum created by driving toward an inspiring mission with a capable, high-energy team in a culture that embraces change and inclusivity. I am delighted to join this team and am eager to help accelerate our progress.”

As COO, Boyd will be responsible for the operational and functional management of the company as Concert scales its network of partners with leading providers and continues to expand access to quality behavioral health care nationwide.

Prior to joining Concert Health, Kimiko was senior vice president of operations of Mindpath Health, a multi-site mental healthcare service company focusing on primarily outpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy. Kimiko held several positions in her five years with the company, deepening her knowledge of behavioral health care and delivery. Before Mindpath, Kimiko served as director of operations and strategic development at Pacific Pulmonary Services, a medical equipment manufacturing company based in Southern California.
