Catalyna, who in her short career has achieved success and the support of her audience with her excellent voice and unique interpretation, returns to the musical radar with her successful single “Castigada”, featuring “Young Miko x Cory” a song that speaks of mutual attraction between two women. While not a new concept in the English-speaking music industry, Catalyna, like Katy Perry with her hit single “I kissed a girl” (and I liked it), the kiss between Madonna and Britney Spears at the VMAs 2003, and more recently, Bad Bunny kissing another man during the 2022 VMAs, will cause waves worldwide.
Catalyna (given name Catalyna Noemi Garcia) belongs to the record label of urban idol Yandel (Y Entertainment) with Warner Music. In no time she has developed a loyal following with her videos. Already “Castigada” with Young Miko x Cory, on YouTube, already has more than 3.2 million views, with very supportive comments from the LGBTQIA+ community, and more than 462,000 Spotify streams.
“I’m excited to finally meet my LGBT fans,” says Catalyna. “I can’t wait to get out there and show them how much I support them and their love of my music,” she added.
Currently, the artist is about to embark on a concert tour that involves various nightclubs and festivals of the LGBTQIA+ community, in the hands of Joe Granda of Granda Entertainment, an entrepreneur that specializes in the LGBTQIA+ community. “It’s important to me to use my platform as an artist to make a difference in people’s lives,” Catalyna said of her upcoming tour. “I’m really excited about this tour because I get the chance to not only perform for my fans but also get to know them up close and give back,” the artist concluded.
Catalyna will also perform at the Hiram Bithorn stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 23rd at the Block Party Festival 2022 organized by Lamúsica.com and Warner Music Latin America with notable artists such as Justin Quiles, De la Guetto, Lenny Tavarez, Blessd among others.
