The Grass League Names Aprio Legal’s Jason Pritchett as General Counsel and Acting Commissioner to Support Strategic Growth and Governance

The Grass League, the world’s first High Stakes Par3 Golf league, is proud to announce the appointment of Aprio Legal’s Jason Pritchett, Practice Leader of Transaction Advisory Services, as its first General Counsel and Acting Commissioner. His addition marks an important milestone in the League’s evolution, reinforcing its commitment to long-term success as a modern sports enterprise.

“As we continue to build a league that redefines competitive golf, we recognize the importance of strong legal leadership,” said Jake Hoselton, Co-Founder of the Grass League. “Jason brings the perfect blend of legal experience, business acumen, community leadership, and sports industry insight to help us navigate the complexities of growth and governance.”

In his role as General Counsel, Pritchett will oversee league governance, navigate legal and regulatory issues, and manage complex contractual, compliance, and intellectual property matters. As Acting Commissioner, he will help guide strategic initiatives while the League kicks off its global search for the permanent role.

Jason Pritchett is a seasoned Arizona business attorney, entrepreneur, and community leader with deep experience in commercial transactions, corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and sports crisis management. His work with professional athletes, agents, and sports clubs aligns with the Grass League’s dynamic environment, where sports intersect with media, sponsorship, and ownership structures.
