The acquisition opportunity presented itself when Dr. Capote sought to pursue a longtime career aspiration to teach the next generation of medical students and residents at the University of Florida as they further their education and forge their own way in the field of medicine. After serving community families for over 20 years, Dr. Capote was thoughtful in seeking out Pediatrica for its commitment to patient families and their pursuit to change the face of pediatric primary care through accessibility and innovation – Next Generation Care℠. Holding the families she served over the decades close to her heart, Dr. Capote also hand-selected her replacement, a pediatrician renowned in the community for her dedicated and compassionate care for kids, Dr. Neta Strum.
