Qualcomm forecast falls short on weakening handset sales

Qualcomm Inc. fell in the extended session Wednesday after the chip maker's lowered its forecast because of weakening handset sales, the company's largest business segment, while that segment helped for topping Wall Street estimates for the quarter.
