Oil prices improve from multimonth lows as weekend OPEC meeting looms

Oil prices rise Wednesday, a snap back from the deep losses of recent sessions, as traders looked ahead to weekend meetings for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies and the potential there for an announced supply cut.
