Mini-Miracles Early Education and Child Care Center in Natick, MA demonstrates it's never too early to teach the importance of community service and awareness of the world outside the school.
NATICK, Mass. - Oct. 18, 2017 - PRLog -- Recently, Mini-Miracles Early Education and Child Care Center conducted a drive to help hurricane families. The students and staff collected 463 diapers, 317 baby wipes, 12 containers of baby food and formula, and an assortment of baby and toddler shampoo, ointment, baby powder, and other hygiene products.

"We're extremely proud of our families' and staff's commitment to helping the hurricane victims," said Ashley Shinnick, Program Director for Mini-Miracles. "We feel a sincere sense of responsibility to the communities we serve and the world around us, and sharing that with our children at such an influential age will help them grow into more empathetic, caring individuals. We believe introducing kindness and generosity to the children early on will make it part of them and they'll take it with them into adolescence and adulthood."

Shinnick said even at the preschool age, it's important to guide the children in their growth, not only intellectually, but physically, emotionally and socially. As recipients of the 2017 Wicked Local #1 Readers Choice Award, she added that part of the reason they are readers' choice is their philosophy for teaching and caring for the young. "We work hard every day to provide our infants, toddlers and preschoolers with a safe, loving and enriching environment that leaves the parents feeling confident that their children are in the best care possible outside their own home."

Mini-Miracles Early Education and Child Care Center students come from many communities within the Metrowest region, allowing the center to offer a diverse learning environment, exposing the children to a variety of cultures and opportunities. Under the direction of highly-skilled clinical executives from partnering organizations RCS Learning Center and RCS Behavioral & Educational Consulting, Mini-Miracles' curriculum is unique and multi-sensory with the goal of exposing children to new concepts using the four main modalities of learning; visual, auditory, movement and touch.

Future community outreach includes a Military fundraiser, a local support Holiday Toy Drive, and a Diaper Drive.
