Securian Sponsors Ballpark Club Level

The St. Paul Saints announced Securian Financial Group’s sponsorship of The Securian Club, the upscale club level facility of CHS Field. The announcement was made in conjunction with the ballpark’s “field lighting” last week, the first official event of the facility, located three blocks east of Securian’s headquarters.

“Securian has been happy to call downtown St. Paul home since our founding in 1880,” said Securian president and CEO, Chris Hilger. “As one of the City’s largest employers, we are excited to be a founding partner of this important project for the downtown community.”

The eight-year founding partnership agreement follows Securian’s ongoing support for the ballpark project since 2009.

“From the very beginning, Securian went to bat for the project. We, and our partners at the City of Saint Paul, couldn’t be more grateful for their unwavering commitment,” said Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Derek Sharrer. “Securian’s presence downtown has been solid for over a century and we’re thrilled to partner with an icon that shares our great passion for St. Paul.”

The Securian Club provides views of the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary to the east, sandstone bluffs along the Mississippi River to the south and the skyline of downtown St. Paul to the west. Open all four seasons, the all-inclusive club will host community and private events in addition to Saints games. The club seats more than 260 guests indoors and another 50 on its outdoor deck facing the ballpark.
