Mortgage Rates Decline for First Time in Six Weeks

U.S. mortgage rates declined for the first time in six weeks, pushing down borrowing costs from a seven-month high. The average rates for a 30-year fixed loan fell to 4.81 percent in the week ended today from 4.83 percent, Freddie Mac (FMCC) said in a statement. – Bloomberg
