Rideshare accidents is a new field of law with the advent of Uber, Lyft, and other companies that offer ride services. What we’re seeing in the law is that some of these companies don’t provide adequate training or even adequate background checks on their drivers. Not only are we have seeing an increase in accidents due to poor training or poor driving, but we’ve also seeing a rise in intentional acts as a result of not doing adequate background checks on the drivers. It’s important that if you’re injured as a result of a rideshare, Uber or Lyft, or another service, that you hire an attorney that has experience taking on these large companies.
