Murphy Law Firm Investigates Legal Claims on Behalf of the 252,890 Individuals whose Personal Information was Exposed in the Data Breach

OKLAHOMA CITY - Jan. 16, 2024 - PRLog -- Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach involving Singing River Health System and its wholly owned subsidiary, Singing River Gulfport ("Singing River"). On December 18, 2023, Singing River detected suspicious activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, Singing River determined that cybercriminals infiltrated the inadequately secured computer systems and thereby had undetected and virtually unfettered access to its sensitive files between August 16, 2023 and August 18, 2023. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals gained access to files containing the sensitive personal information of 252,890 individuals. The information exposed in the data breach includes, but is not limited to:

• Medical information
• Dates of birth
• Addresses
• Health information numbers
