Irving, TX — Tylock-George Eye Care has announced that they will be hosting a promotional raffle this spring entitled “Winning Wednesdays Eye Ball Raffle,” where entrants will have the chance of receiving two tickets to a Texas Ranger’s baseball game in 2023. The advanced LASIK-focused practice has been the official LASIK partner of the Texas Rangers for over a decade, which has bolstered their name-brand recognition as one of the top LASIK providers in the area. The Winning Wednesday promotion will help further the practice’s reputation in the area and will introduce more patients to LASIK laser eye surgery.
“We’re always excited to put on an event and get the community involved,” said Randy Schaller, the chief executive officer at Tylock-George. “We’ve partnered with the Texas Rangers for so many years, and they have such a wide reach. I’m very happy to be helping put on this event throughout the spring, and because there’s a chance to win every week, we can help so many people see their favorite team play live!”
Patients who schedule and complete a free LASIK consultation at Tylock-George are automatically entered into the raffle. With a new winner being chosen each week, the practice hopes to see more patients schedule surgery. The raffle is open to legal Texas residents who are at least 21 years old or older and will last from April 17 to September 15. Those who are referred for further medical testing after their consultation are not eligible for the raffle.
“LASIK can change lives, and I think patients can sometimes worry or think they are not potential candidates,” said Michael George, M.D., medical director and eye surgeon at Tylock-George. “You just can’t make that determination by yourself, and the only way to know for sure is to get a thorough consultation from a refractive surgeon. One of our main goals for this event is to help patients discover the freedom LASIK provides, and what a gift it is. We’ve established a great relationship with the Texas Rangers, and I think a contest like this is going to give patients an incentive to take lifechanging step to better vision.”
Each winner will be drawn at random every Wednesday afternoon during the contest period. Winners will be notified immediately afterward, but if the winners cannot be contacted within three days of the first attempt to reach out, a new winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.
“I think we’re all very excited,” continued Dr. George. “We’re expecting to see a lot of patients, and there’s nothing like a trip to a good ball game with friends!”
Winners cannot exchange tickets for a different Texas Rangers gameday, and patients do not have to purchase anything to enter the raffle. Tylock-George is open and taking appointments for new and existing patients at all their locations.
