"The Tithe" was written with the objective of clarifying and simplifying the topic of tithing.

The book focuses on the scriptural foundations of tithing. There are many Bible verses included in the book.

This newly authored book attempts to present the topic in a full and comprehensive way. At the same time, it is an easy read; most people can finish it in one sitting.

The book's cover art was created by Abigail Barich. The book is being released through Lulu and is also available at Amazon.

This is the second book Cheryl Jones has authored. She is also the author of "Seeing Through a Glass Darkly". Plus, she co-created two children's books with artist Abigail Barich: "Let's Plant a Garden" and "Let's Clean Up".

When asked why she wrote the book, Cheryl replied:

"The Bible states that people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge. There is a lack of knowledge surrounding the tithe.

Tithing or giving to a church is not the same as receiving Jesus as Savior.

The Bible indicates that God tests man's free will choices. The promise of the tithe is the only place where God says 'prove Me'."

Cheryl Jones has attended the online Morris Cerullo School of Ministry. She has also attended in person Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking artist Abigail Barich for creating the cover art and helping with the technicalities of getting the book online. Without Abigail Barich's help, the book would still be unpublished.
