NSCA provides all the necessary training, ordination, assessment, and certification across the three levels of compliance that are needed to qualify as a school chaplain.

Statistics have shown that suicide is the second leading cause of death for children aged between 15 and 24. Associated with this figure are the increasing anxiety and depression rates for adolescents in the United States. National School Chaplain Association is offering high school graduates who want to help address these concerning statistics access to chaplaincy training that is accredited by both the chaplaincy organization and Oklahoma Christian University.

By becoming a school chaplain, individuals will be able to give kids ongoing spiritual support that includes prayer, counsel, and care through individual interactions and group sessions. Furthermore, this care also extends to helping students, school staff, parents, and guardians in times of need.

The training provided by National School Chaplain Association can be done quickly, with levels one and two requiring a combined total of 48 hours of training time including background checks, application, and certification.

Further details on the training, its requirements, and course schedules can be found at https://nationalschoolchaplainassociation.org/chaplains/
