Raymond James Welcomes Virginia Advisor Managing Over $280 Million

Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor J. Morgan Edwards, CFP®, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Courtland Williams, Mid-Atlantic region director for RJA.

Based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Edwards arrives from UBS Financial Services where he managed over $280 million in client assets. He joins the existing Raymond James Virginia Beach branch, led by Vic Philleo, and provides holistic financial planning and guidance to a variety of clients, specializing in high-net-worth families, business owners and medical and dental professionals.

“Raymond James has come to define what a people-first firm is, where an emphasis on leading-edge technology and advisor independence supports both advisors and clients with purpose,” said Edwards. “I am excited for my clients to experience the same down-to-earth guidance in a more intuitive and user-friendly way.”

Edwards began his financial services career in 2008 and affiliated with UBS Financial Services in 2014. His experience is backed by a bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University alongside the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.
