Houston Trial Lawyer Armie Lewis Joins Rusty Hardin & Associates

New addition bolsters RH&A’s already robust trial team

Rusty Hardin & Associates has increased the depth of its litigation team with the addition of attorney Armie Lewis, the law firm announced today.

“Armie is just an outstanding lawyer with awesome people skills,” said Mr. Hardin. “He will do everything possible to help our clients, and he does it with an incredible attitude. That, combined with his extensive commercial litigation experience and winning attitude, made it an easy decision to ask him to join us. He has also expressed an interest in our criminal white-collar practice and is now lending his talents to that as well as our commercial litigation practice. I feel like we hired two lawyers in one body!”

Before joining the firm, Mr. Lewis spent four years as an associate at Susman Godfrey LLP in Houston. Prior to that, he earned a BBA and an MBA in business management from Dallas Baptist University and a JD from Emory University School of Law, where he graduated with honors. After law school, he completed two federal clerkships where he clerked for Chief Judge Carl E. Stewart of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Ed Kinkeade of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Mr. Lewis has represented clients in both state and federal courts across the country in a wide variety of high-stakes matters, including financial cases, energy disputes, real estate litigation, trademark litigation, personal injury lawsuits, civil rights litigation, appeals, and probate disputes.

“This firm is special in that there is a willingness to do whatever needs to be done to help others, so I knew immediately it was where I wanted to be,” said Mr. Lewis. “I am excited about working with this team, having the ability to grow my practice, and, most importantly, serving our clients to resolve whatever issues they may be facing.”

Rusty Hardin & Associates, LLP has built a solid reputation for taking on the causes of its clients and obtaining favorable results in commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense, plaintiffs’ personal injury, appellate matters, and general civil and criminal litigation.
