aPriori Appoints Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer, Marks Next Chapter in Innovation

aPriori today named two executives to spearhead R&D and product strategy for its Manufacturing Insights Platform, which enables manufacturers to launch their products on time, on budget, and minimize environmental impact. aPriori appointed Ronnie Thomson as Chief Technology Officer and Fielder Hiss as Chief Products Officer.

Mr. Thomson and Mr. Hiss have proven experience bringing new software and solutions to market while also scaling operations to support high growth and high performance. Their collective experience includes leadership positions at Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks, a virtual product design platform provider, and sustainability-focused solutions providers EnerNOC and Uplight.

Ronnie Thomson, Chief Technology Officer

Ronnie Thomson has extensive experience leading technology innovation at global solutions providers including Uplight, Zoll Data, and Peoplefluent. His background includes designing a cloud-based platform strategy that delivers high performance and availability for nearly 20 products, driving value from multiple acquisitions by integrating 12 different product roadmaps into a single delivery model. And Mr. Thomson has led the technology transition to cloud-based solutions while maintaining continuous delivery cycles at multiple companies.

Fielder Hiss, Chief Products Officer

For the past two decades, Fielder Hiss has consistently directed new product development that addresses unmet market needs and provides competitive differentiation. Mr. Hiss held multiple positions during his 14-year career at Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks – including vice president of product marketing and project management. He also led product strategy for cloud-based solutions providers including LiveAction, Continuum, and EnerNOC. Mr. Hiss holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
