Rakija Baraba won the “Best Rakija from Serbia” award at the Debrecen Summer Spirits Festival. An international jury scored aroma, purity, balance, and finish. Baraba earned the top mark among Serbian entries.
The Debrecen Summer Spirits Festival has a long tradition. Each summer it brings distillers from across Europe, with a strong presence from Central, Southern, and Southeastern Europe. Visitors taste hundreds of samples, join practical workshops, and vote in public-choice selections. This year the event set a record for entries in the fruit brandy category.
