A passionate educator and global leader, Michael brings over two decades of experience in building innovative school cultures where students and educators thrive.
A Philadelphia native and lifelong Eagles fan, Michael began his career in the nonprofit sector, working as a Job Coach and Adult Literacy Instructor in Title I schools in West Philadelphia. His commitment to equity and access has taken him from classrooms in Philadelphia and New York City to educational initiatives in Sierra Leone, Ghana, China, Colombia, the Bahamas, and across North America.
Michael holds a Psychology degree from Penn State, pursued graduate studies at Villanova, and earned a Master’s in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Philly PLUS Fellow and has held leadership roles including CEO of Chester County Family Charter School and Head of School at Fusion Academy in Miami.
Known for his high-energy leadership and deep community engagement, Michael is dedicated to creating bold, joyful spaces where young people and families can succeed. His appointment aligns with Score Academy's mission to provide customized, student-centered education through one-on-one and small-group instruction.
