On March 11, 2009, the Compensation Committee of MasTec, Inc. (the “Company”) awarded discretionary
cash bonuses of $450,000, $360,000, $345,000 and $141,750 for Messrs. Mas, Apple, Campbell, and de
Cardenas, respectively. These cash bonuses were for 2008 and were awarded pursuant to each
executive officer’s employment agreement with the Company.
