Item 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On October 12, 2004, Applica Incorporated and its U.S. operating subsidiary, Applica Consumer Products, Inc., entered into a new employment agreement with Harry D. Schulman, the President and Chief Executive Officer.
A copy of the employment agreement is attached as Exhibit 10.1 to this report.
