Item 2.02.        RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.

         On May 1, 2006 Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Inc., a Delaware
corporation (the "Company") announced its preliminary unaudited operating
results for the twelve week first quarter ended March 21, 2006. A copy of the
press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.

         The information furnished pursuant to this Current Report on Form 8-K,
