On January 8, 2007, Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company"), the
holding company for Berkshire Bank, announced it expected to issue its fourth
quarter and yearly earnings release on January 29, 2007. The Company will
conduct a conference call at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on January 30, 2007 to
discuss the results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2006.
Instructions on how to access the call are contained in the press release, a
copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
