Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On May 3, 2007, Starbucks Corporation (the “Company”) issued an earnings release announcing
its financial results for the 13 weeks ended April 1, 2007. A copy of the earnings release is
attached as Exhibit 99.1.

Other Events.
On
May 3, 2007, the Company announced that its Board of Directors
has authorized the repurchase by the Company of up to an additional
25 million shares of its common stock. The announcement was
contained in the earnings release attached as Exhibit 99.1.
