Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On September 12, 2008, Nordson Corporation will conduct an Investor Day event. A copy of the news release announcing the event is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.

At the Investor Day event, Edward P. Campbell, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nordson, and members of Nordson’s executive management team will deliver a presentation (including an extensive slideshow) which will be available live via webcast through the company’s website, www.nordson.com.
