Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Effective February 22, 2008, Steven M. Jones, President of Credit Acceptance Corporation ("the Company"), has assumed the responsibilities of principal operating officer. Mr. Jones joined the Company in October 1997 as Manager of the Debt Recovery Department for Credit Acceptance Corporation UK Limited, in which position he served until November 1999 when he was named Deputy Managing Director, Credit Acceptance Corporation UK Limited. In December 2001, he was named Managing Director Credit Acceptance Corporation UK Limited in which he was responsible for the operations of the Company's United Kingdom business segment. Mr. Jones was named Chief Administrative Officer in November 2003, Chief Analytics Officer in December 2004, Chief Originations Officer in June 2006, and to his present position in April 2007.

Effective February 22, 2008, Michael W. Knoblauch, formerly the Chief Operating Officer of the Company, took on the role of Senior Vice President - Loan Servicing, with responsibility for Customer Service, Front End Collections, and Contact and Collection Strategy.
