COMPANHIA SIDERÚRGICA NACIONAL (“CSN”) informs its shareholders and the market in general that is participating in a private bidding process for the possible acquisition of OAO Severstal’s steel assets in the United States.

 

As part of this process, evaluations and studies related to the feasibility of referred operation are in progress, aiming at a potential submission of an indicative acquisition proposal.

 

CSN will keep the market informed in accordance with applicable Laws.
