Media General, Inc., has completed the sale of its ABC television station WMBB in Panama City, Florida and its dual NBC/CBS station KALB/NALB in Alexandria, Louisiana to Hoak Media Corporation. Net after-tax proceeds from the sale will be used for debt repayment. A copy of the release announcing the divesture is furnished as Exhibit 99.1.
