On February 7, 2008 Apollo Investment Corporation (the Company) announced that Frank C. Puleo had accepted the offer of the Board of Directors (the Board) to serve as a member of the Board effective February 4, 2008. Mr. Puleo will also serve as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and the Audit Committee of the Board. A copy of the press release announcing the appointment of Mr. Puleo to the Board is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
