On November 16, 2007, Gastar Exploration Ltd. issued a press release entitled “Gastar Exploration Agrees to Sell $100 Million of 12 3/4% Senior Secured Notes,” which announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Gastar Exploration USA, Inc., agreed to sell $100 million of 12 3 /4% senior secured notes due 2012 in a private placement. This press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
The offering was previously announced by a press release dated November 9, 2007, which press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
