On November 9, 2007, Gastar Exploration Ltd. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Gastar Exploration USA, Inc., is offering $100 million of new senior secured notes due 2012. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to repay existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
This press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is being furnished solely pursuant to Item 7.01 of this report.
