On September 14, 2007, BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release relating to the Company’s receipt of a $30 million upfront payment from Meda AB, a Swedish company, pursuant to a license agreement for the commercialization and distribution of the Company’s BEMA™ Fentanyl product. The press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
