Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On October 4, 2005, Motive, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release in which it indicated its intent to focus its efforts on the communications market. In connection therewith, on October 7, 2005, Scott Abel ceased serving in his position as Executive Vice President of Products, and Douglas McNary ceased serving in his position as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for the Company. Mr. Abel and Mr. McNary will provide consulting services to the Company throughout the remainder of 2005.
