ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS

 

On September 12, 2005, Terra Industries Inc. (“Terra”) announced that it has resumed ammonia production at its Yazoo City, Mississippi nitrogen products manufacturing facility which was idled on August 31, 2005 due to a an interruption in its natural gas supply. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
