Item 5. Other Events and Required FD Disclosure.

 

On December 2, 2003, RITA Medical Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“RITA”), announced the presentation of study results at the Radiology Society of North America’s 89^th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting. The study investigated survival rates in patients treated for hepatocellular cancer of the liver with cirrhosis and early stage tumors. A copy of RITA’s press release announcing this release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
