Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 2, 2013, a federal jury of seven persons in Kansas City, Kansas, cleared Stephen M. Kovzan, the Chief Financial Officer of NIC Inc., of any liability in connection with all alleged violations of certain provisions of the federal securities laws in connection with the previously disclosed SEC civil matter.
