Item 2.02  Results of Operations and Financial Conditions

 

On August 7, 2008 Hardinge Inc. issued a press release announcing the Company’s second quarter 2008 results.

 

Subsequent to issuance of the press release, the Company determined that the press release contained an error in the paragraph discussing second quarter North American orders.  The significant order referenced was $2 million, not $6 million as stated in the press release.

 

A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
