On November 29, 2006, Rinker Group Limited (“Rinker”) released its Target’s Statement in response to the Bidder’s Statement from Cemex S.A.B. de C.V. (“Cemex”) related to its unsolicited cash takeover offer for Rinker, a copy of which Cemex filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 31, 2006. In connection with the release of its Target’s Statement, Rinker issued a press release and gave an investor presentation on November 29, 2006.
