ACNB Corporation released earnings results for the First Quarter of 2006 as of March 31, 2006, as well as the approval of the cash dividend for Second Quarter 2006, as more fully described in the attached press release as of May 18, 2006. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. The information furnished under this Item 2.02 of this Current Report on Form 8-K shall not be deemed to be filed for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
