UnitedHealth boosts profit outlook on Optum, Medicare Advantage strength

UnitedHealth Group Inc. posted higher revenue and profits in the first quarter and raised its expectations for the full year, after noting growth in the company's Medicare Advantage business and its Optum health-services subsidiary.
