Joy Dental Design, a North Dakota dental office, has relaunched as Hazen Smiles. This comes after the purchase of the new Hazen location by Dr Krysta Sellers, with extensive remodels and dental technology upgrades to follow.

Joy Dental Design is now Hazen Smiles, following the purchase of the brand’s Hazen location by Dr Krysta Sellers. Dr Sellers will continue to work with the original team of the Joy Dental Design offices, including Dr Keely, to ensure that those who have grown accustomed to their 50 years of service can enjoy the same quality of care as ever, but with some new updates and upgrades.
Dr Sellers originally worked as a dentist at Joy Dental Design while I working on opening a dental practice in Bismarck during the summer of 2016. In August 2016, she opened the Aesthetic Dental Center in Bismarck with a focus on cosmetics and rehabilitation dentistry. During the first year of being open in Bismarck, Dr Sellers continued to work in Hazen a couple of days per week, developing relationships within the community and becoming more a fixture of the town.
When the Hazen dental practice was put up for sale, Dr Sellers immediately became interested. She was already well aware of the community-oriented nature of the team in Hazen, as well as the quality of dentistry provided by Dr Keely, on top of her ability to relate well with people and to create a positive impact on her patients and their families. She decided to take the opportunity the purchase would allow for the people of Hazen and surrounding communities, which will allow them to handle any extensive dental treatments that would normally be referred out to a specialist at their Bismarck office for additional dental treatment. This way the patient has the comfort of knowing they are in good hands from regular dental treatments and cleanings all the way to full mouth complex dentistry.
