Voice of the Earth, the feature documentary by international recording artist and filmmaker Heather Schmid, has been awarded Best Nature & Mental Health at the Nature Without Borders International Film Festival, recognizing the film’s powerful exploration of the healing relationship between humanity, the natural world, and inner transformation.

Filmed in the volcanic landscapes of the Azores, Voice of the Earth follows Schmid’s unexpected awakening as a creative journey to compose music with the land transforms into a profound dialogue with the Earth itself.
