Sydney, NSW - May 8, 2025 - Al-Ihsan Foundation, a non-profit committed to delivering rapid humanitarian response, has officially launched its 2025 Qurban campaign, offering individuals an impactful way to fulfil their Qurban obligation this Eid al-Adha. Through this initiative, fresh meat will be distributed to Gaza refugees, Sudanese refugees, and families across Lebanon and beyond, providing vital support to those facing food insecurity.
Qurban holds deep spiritual significance, symbolizing sacrifice, devotion, and compassion. By participating, donors honour the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) while uplifting vulnerable communities around the world. In many crisis-affected and low-income regions, meat is a rare luxury. Gaza refugees and Sudanese refugees often go an entire year without consuming meat, making Qurban distributions a critical source of essential nutrition.
Al-Ihsan Foundation is dedicated to delivering fresh Qurbani meat. The Foundation’s programs are carefully monitored from sacrifice to distribution to ensure full sharia compliance. Moreover, each delivery is made with a promise to preserve the dignity of those receiving it. Also, by sourcing animals locally, Al-Ihsan supports regional economies and guarantees the freshness of every distribution.
In 2024, Al-Ihsan distributed Qurban meat across more than 12 countries, reaching tens of thousands of families with zero frozen deliveries. This commitment continues in 2025, as the global hunger crisis intensifies. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 733 million people, or roughly 1 in 11 worldwide, face hunger, a number that has risen sharply since 2019.
The Foundation’s teams work in some of the world’s most underserved areas, including remote villages and active conflict zones, to ensure every sacrifice reaches those who need it most. By delivering Qurban meat fresh and with dignity, Al-Ihsan helps bring a little bit of hope and joy to families during the blessed days of Eid.
Al-Ihsan Foundation also offers unique options like the Qurban Trio Pack, which includes Qurban meat, 30 hot meals, and Eid gifts for families.
With the 1st of Dhul Hijah expected to begin on May 25, 2025, the Day of Arafah on June 5 or 6, and Eid al-Adha on June 6 or 7, Al-Ihsan Foundation invites everyone to take part in this blessed act of service and extend their blessing to those in need.
