On April 11, 2025, the Release of 2024 ISVC and the Launching Ceremony of the 2025 ISVC were grandly held at the foot of Mountain Tai in Tai'an.
The event brought together over 400 participants from diverse backgrounds, including Chinese and international short video creators, media professionals, cultural scholars, and industry leaders, all converging to foster cross-cultural dialogue and creative collaboration. Launched on October 10, 2024, the competition spanned 180 days of intensive content creation and rigorous evaluation, ultimately attracting 4,452 submissions from more than 60 countries and regions across six continents.

These entries, reflecting a wide spectrum of themes from social issues to technological innovation and cultural heritage, underwent a multi-tiered selection process involving international juries, demonstrating the competition's commitment to both artistic quality and global representation.
As of now, the total views across domestic and international platforms such as Douyin, Kuaishou, Video Channels, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube have exceeded 2 billion, with total impressions surpassing 5 billion. Overseas views and discussions have reached 30 million. Through multiple rounds of competition—including open submissions, preliminary expert reviews, final expert evaluations, and global showcases—24 outstanding international communication short videos were ultimately selected as first, second, and third category award-winning promotional works.By consistently rolling out exceptional works on a global scale, the International Short Video Competition continues to unleash even greater influence. Simultaneously, the event has evolved into a comprehensive platform fostering cultural exchange and integration between China and other nations, with a dedicated focus on expanding international communication channels. This ensures that outstanding works reach audiences across more countries, thereby connecting specific narratives to universal themes and artfully reflecting the core creative proposition of "a community with a shared future for mankind" through nuanced storytelling.
