New Book “Ayahuasca Is” Explores the Mystical Intersection of Healing, Art, and Authenticity

By: Get News

In a bold literary style that merges the confessional with the philosophical, Eleonora Duvivier presents Ayahuasca Is—a thought-provoking exploration of the transformative effects of plant medicine on the human psyche. At once poetic and logical, Ayahuasca Is offers a deeply intimate narrative of healing, self-discovery, and transcendence, illuminating the spiritual and mental pathways opened by the ancient Amazonian brew.

Blending personal memoir with rich philosophical insight, Duvivier’s work has been described as “Proustian” in its depth and introspective clarity. The book traces the arc of a life recovered, filtered through the revealing, reconciling experiences of ayahuasca. Ayahuasca Is reflects on themes of art, authenticity, Christianity, and consciousness, with lyrical meditations that challenge, inspire, and awaken.

Alexandra Furtado, a reader deeply moved by the book, writes: "I haven't read anyone that has integrated so much introspection and philosophy into a memoir-type book. The world before the word really shines in that for me... Her writing reminded me a lot of passages from Being and Time by Heidegger. Authenticity is a big area of interest to me in the world of existential thought."

Duvivier brings her philosophical training and artistic sensibility to the page with striking originality. Having studied philosophy at Boston University, King’s College London, and PUC-Rio, she draws on an expansive intellectual background. Her writing—imbued with poetic prose and existential depth—evokes the mystical and the cerebral, mirroring the nature of ayahuasca itself.

Ayahuasca Is is a testament to the inner voyage, to the recovery of truth and wholeness through one of the world's most powerful and sacred plant medicines. This is a book for seekers, artists, thinkers, and anyone intrigued by the complex beauty of healing through self-examination and transcendence.

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience one of the most original and soul-stirring books of the year. Ayahuasca Is is now available for purchase on Amazon.
