Steve Kent Of Steve Kent Financial Services Expands Its Financial Literacy Initiative To Directly Benefit Minorities Through Education In Workshops And Online Classes
According to Steve Kent "When all is said and done, we work hard all our lives. We deserve to relax and live life on our terms. Do you have a retirement plan in place? Does that plan provide a guaranteed stream of income for the rest of your life?"
Studies reveal that more than six in ten people, many of whom are minorities, are unaware of basic financial concepts. As a result people incur debt, pay too much in income taxes, have no life insurance, have no long term care plan, have no college planning or retirement planning. The education aspect of the financial literacy initiative will include a combination of workshops and online classes. The financial literacy initiative will be conducted across multiple U.S. cities.

On a daily basis people are inundated with offers to buy a type of car, a lotion to make them look younger, a bank offering a credit card, or a vacation to a resort destination. Steve Kent of Steve Kent Financial Services asks, "How do we make sense of it all?"

The same holds true as it applies to a person's financial well being. How do they decide which bank is best, which credit card to choose, which vehicle will be more tax advantageous, which college plan will benefit them or their family the most, and where do they save for retirement?

Studies reveal more than 6 out of 10 people, many of whom are minorities, are unaware of basic financial concepts. As a result many people get "analysis paralysis" and do not make a decision perpetuating their current situation.

The education aspect of The Financial Literacy Initiative will include a combination of workshops and online classes. The Financial Literacy Initiative will begin over an 8 week period across multiple U.S. cities and then expand from that point. Financial literacy education needs to be taught to everyone.

The goal of the Financial Literacy Initiative is to provide education to the public at a faster pace than is currently being done. Every day babies are born, people get married, they buy homes, retire, and then graduate life. With so many life events, Steve Kent says "It makes sense that people have the information to make informed financial decisions for themselves." Financial literacy education can help to provide financial security and peace of mind.

After all, no one wants to be in credit card debt, pay too much in income taxes, have no life insurance, have no long term care plan, have no college planning, long term care, or retirement planning.

According to Steve Kent "When all is said and done, we work hard all our lives. We deserve to relax and live our retirement years on our terms." Steve Kent also asks "Do you have a retirement plan in place? Does this plan provide a guaranteed stream of income for the rest of your life."

Steve Kent of Steve Kent Financial Services is licensed in 13 states as he seeks to help more people to become financially free and live the life they want to. Kent states "It is exciting and fun to be able to share financial literacy education with so many people."
