CHG Healthcare Names Kerry Norman Chief People Officer

The promotion underscores the company’s commitment to its people and award-winning culture

CHG Healthcare, the nation’s largest physician staffing company, has announced the promotion of Kerry Norman to Chief People Officer. Norman, a fierce champion of the company’s award-winning culture, will oversee the people and culture teams as well as continuing to be a key member of CHG’s executive leadership team. She sees the new role as an opportunity to double down on strengthening the employee experience and continuing CHG’s reputation as one of the best places to work.

Norman joined CHG — the founder of the locum tenens, or temporary physician staffing industry — in 2017 and has been a pivotal member of CHG’s executive leadership team. She began her journey with the company as Vice President of Talent Management before being promoted to Executive Vice President of People and Operations in February of 2023. During that time, the company has won dozens of top workplace accolades, including Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, USA Today’s Best Places to Work, and Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare. The company has also been honored for its commitment to inclusion and pay parity. Before her time at CHG, Norman spent more than two decades in human resources and talent management at leading companies such as Capital Group, Prudential Financial, and FedEx.

“I joined CHG because I wanted to do meaningful work at a purpose-driven company where people and service are at the core of everything we do,” Norman said. “I’m thrilled for the opportunity to help CHG remain a great place to work — one where everyone can thrive.”

Norman’s approach to strategic leadership focuses on connecting the success of CHG’s people with business results. She believes that prioritizing talent development and purposefully shaping workplace culture are essential to driving long-term growth — for both the organization and its people.

“Kerry’s leadership has played a key role in making CHG a great place to work,” said Leslie Snavely, CHG Healthcare CEO. “This promotion builds on that foundation — doubling down on inclusion, growth, and ensuring every employee feels valued and supported as we continue to scale.”

Norman is a powerful champion for inclusion and serves as a board member of the Women’s Leadership Institute and CHG’s nonprofit foundation. She holds a B.A. in economics from Boston College, where she graduated from the honors program summa cum laude.
