Acquiring an Education

Mr. Kreeley's technical education began at Drexel University, where he received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 2016. In 2019, he earned a master's degree in civil engineering from the same institution. Both degrees specialized in structural engineering.

Not long after concluding his formal studies, Mr. Kreeley secured licensure in professional engineering in Pennsylvania and Maryland, achieving this in 2022 and 2024, respectively. In 2016, he earned a professional civil engineering certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.

The Beginnings of a Fruitful Career

Before completing university, Mr. Kreeley began his career with three six-month Drexel co-ops. The first, as a sample research analyst at the Philadelphia Water Department in 2013, crystallized his desire to pursue a career in civil engineering.

The other two co-ops, taking place between 2014 and 2015, were at the Bridge Division of the Philadelphia Streets Department. It was here that he worked as a draftsman and designer, both of which provided him with foundational knowledge in drafting techniques and bridge design.

Developing an Ethos of Perseverance

From 2016 to 2019, Mr. Kreeley transitioned to serve as a design engineer for Universal Concrete Products, a role that provided him with invaluable experience in concrete applications.

Mr. Kreeley subsequently advanced his career, taking on the role of engineer at Network Building + Consulting LLC from 2019 to 2023. In this position, he made significant contributions to the company's success by enhancing its project management and engineering design. In 2023, he obtained his current position as a structural engineer at Atlas.

Today, Mr. Kreeley attributes much of his success to resilience and perseverance. Without these qualities, he believes he would not have been able to endure the hardships he encountered, which would have prevented him from achieving the best outcomes possible. He encourages others to adopt a similar mindset wherever possible, recognizing that motivation often leads to success regardless of the profession.

Civic Contributions and Personal Life

Outside of his career, Mr. Kreeley also actively participates in several respected organizations. He is currently involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers, a group advancing the civil engineering profession through educational and technical resources, and the Order of the Engineer, an organization that promotes professionalism and ethics in engineering practice. He previously participated in Drexel DEI and the Drexel Concrete Canoe Team.

When not engaging in engineering operations, Mr. Kreeley can be found exercising at the gym, spending time with his family, reading, kayaking and hiking. As he advances his career, Mr. Kreeley aims to take on a managerial role and serve as a mentor to his team while pursuing further growth in his current workplace.
