Swaywind, the Renewable Energy Company, Continues to Integrate More Electric Vehicle Chargers into Its Network

OVERLAND PARK, KS / ACCESS Newswire / April 8, 2025 / In a step forward for clean mobility, Swaywind, the renewable energy company known for its wind-powered innovations, is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charging network across multiple regions. This latest effort reflects the company's broader goal: building a cleaner, smarter energy ecosystem that extends well beyond wind turbines.

The rollout will see more than 250 new EV chargers added over the coming months, including a mix of fast chargers and Level 3 units. These installations are being carefully placed in both high-traffic urban areas and underserved rural locations, where charging infrastructure is still catching up with the growing number of electric vehicles on the road.

"At Sway Wind, we don't just produce clean energy-we think about how people actually use it," said a company spokesperson. "Getting behind the wheel of an electric vehicle should be easy and accessible, and we want our charging stations to support that shift in a practical way."

What makes this initiative unique is that the new chargers will be powered by energy directly from Swaywind's own wind farms, making it a rare example of an end-to-end renewable charging solution. It's not just about putting chargers on the map-it's about ensuring those chargers run on clean, reliable power.

Each charger will also be connected to the company's user-friendly app, allowing drivers to find stations, check availability in real time, and monitor their charging progress-all with just a few taps. It's designed to be simple, fast, and helpful, especially for first-time EV users who might be unfamiliar with how public charging works.

This expansion is about more than convenience. It supports both local sustainability goals and broader national efforts to lower transportation-related emissions. According to internal estimates, this project alone could offset tens of thousands of metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually.

The company also emphasized its commitment to job creation. "This isn't just a win for EV drivers-it's a win for electricians, site planners, software teams, and local contractors," the spokesperson added. Sway Wind expects to create more than 300 jobs across the regions where chargers are being installed.

As EV adoption grows, so does the need for thoughtful infrastructure. Swaywind plans to double its charging network by the end of next year, aiming to stay ahead of demand while helping drivers make the switch with confidence.

"We want people to know that clean transportation isn't just a dream-it's happening now, and they're part of it," the spokesperson said.
